Between Boston and New York, the north east of the USA plays host to a rich array of summer festivals, set in the historic towns of New England and the bucolic countryside of upstate New York. Over two leisurely weeks you will experience rare and contemporary opera at Glimmerglass Opera, enjoy chamber music in the ‘gilded-age’ mansions of Newport and join the Boston Symphony Orchestra and friends at the legendary Tanglewood Festival. Finish in New York City with the Lincoln Center Mostly Mozart Festival, Broadway theatre, Central Park concerts and everything else that the Big Apple offers.
